Sub: Validity of unreserved tickets over Non-suburban sections.
Ministry of Railways have decided to revise the validity of unreserved tickets over non- suburban section as under-
(1) For distances upto 199 Kms, the Journey shall be started from the originating station within three hours of time of issue of tickets or upto the departure of first train for the destination whichever is later.
(ii) For distances of 200 Kms and above, there will be no change in the existing provisions and also the advance booking of 3 days will continue to be allowed.
(iii) For the distances upto 199 Kms, the tickets across UTS will be issued at the originating stations only.
(iv) As regards validity of return journey tickets, the facility for return journey tickets upto 199 Kms should be withdrawn.
(v) In case of Excess fare tickets also, the validity of EFT for the distance upto 199 Kms will be the time of issue of such tickets or upto the departure of first train for the destination whichever is later.
2. This Issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
3. This will be implemented w.e.f 01.03.2016.
4. CRIS may kindly make necessary changes in the software.

विषय: गैर-उपनगरीय खंडों पर अनारक्षित टिकटों की वैधता।
रेल मंत्रालय ने गैर-उपनगरीय खंड पर अनारक्षित टिकटों की वैधता को निम्नानुसार संशोधित करने का निर्णय लिया है-
(1) 199 किलोमीटर तक की दूरी के लिए, यात्रा प्रारंभिक स्टेशन से शुरू की जाएगी टिकट जारी होने के तीन घंटे के भीतर या पहली ट्रेन के प्रस्थान तक गंतव्य, जो भी बाद में हो।
(ii) 200 किलोमीटर और उससे अधिक की दूरी के लिए, मौजूदा प्रावधानों में कोई बदलाव नहीं होगा और 3 दिनों की अग्रिम बुकिंग की भी अनुमति जारी रहेगी।
(iii) 199 किलोमीटर तक की दूरी के लिए, यूटीएस में टिकट केवल प्रारंभिक स्टेशनों पर जारी किए जाएंगे।
(iv) वापसी यात्रा टिकटों की वैधता के संबंध में, 199 किलोमीटर तक की वापसी यात्रा टिकटों की सुविधा वापस ली जानी चाहिए।
(v) अधिक किराये वाले टिकटों के मामले में भी, 199 किलोमीटर तक की दूरी के लिए ईएफटी की वैधता ऐसे टिकटों को जारी करने का समय या गंतव्य के लिए पहली ट्रेन के प्रस्थान तक, जो भी बाद में हो, होगी।
2. यह रेल मंत्रालय के वित्त निदेशालय की सहमति से जारी किया गया है।
3. इसे 01.03.2016 से लागू किया जाएगा।
4. सीआरआईएस कृपया सॉफ्टवेयर में आवश्यक बदलाव कर सकता है।
