Sub: Filling up the post of Junior Engineer in pay level-6 against 25% LDCE quota..
Ref: i) Board's letter No. E(NG)I/99/PM7/17 dated 25.08.2003 (RBE No.145/2003).
ii) Board's letter No. E(NG) II/2001/RR-1/6 dated 29.08.2014 (RBE No. 92/2014).
One of the Zonal Railways has sought a clarification regarding the relevance of educational qualification of ITI/Act Apprenticeship in Electrical Trade or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Branch for selection to the post of JE/Mechanical in pay level- 6 against 25% LDCE Quota (also historically known as Intermediate Apprentice Quota) and similarly the relevance of ITI/Act Apprenticeship Trade in Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Branch for selection to the post of JE/Electrical in pay level-6 against the 25% LDCE Quota
2. The matter has been examined in consultation with the Technical Directorate and attention of Railways/PUs is drawn to the instructions issued vide RBE 92/2014, wherein, the educational qualification of Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering has been used interchangeably for JE/Mechanical as well as JE/Electrical posts inter alia other subjects & sub streams of these subjects mentioned therein. Attention is also drawn to the instructions issued vide RBE 127/2003, wherein, Graduation in these Engineering subjects has also been allowed to be a permissible qualification for the 25% LDCE Quota, if other eligibility conditions are fulfilled.
3. Therefore, it is clarified that the subjects of Electrical/Mechanical Trades and Diploma/Graduation in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Branch including their sub stream Branches, if any, may be allowed to be a relevant trade for the purposes of Act Apprenticeship/ITI Trade, for the selection of JE/Mechanical and JE/Electrical respectively, against the 25% LDCE Quota,
This disposes off SWR's letter No.SWR/P/R/608/LDCE dated 28.06.2022.

विषयः 25% सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा (एलडीसीई) कोटे के अंतर्गत वेतन स्वर में जूनियर इंजीनियर वो पद को भरना।
संदर्भ: । बोर्ड का दिनांक 25.08.2003 का पत्र संख्या ईएनजी) 4/99 पीएम7/17 (बीई संख्या 145/2003)

किनी क्षेत्रीय रेल ने 25% मीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा कोटा (जिसे पूर्व में इंटरमीडिएट सप्रेटित कोटा के रूप में श्री जाना जाता था) के अंतर्गत केतन मार में जूनियर इंजीनिकेतकर के पद पर भवन के लिए इलेक्ट्रिकल ट्रेड में आईएस्ट मिसिया इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरी में डिप्लोमा की वैक्षिक योग्यता की प्रामणिकता के बारे में स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है और इसी प्रकार 25% सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीचा कोटे के अंतर्गत वेदनार में जूनियर इंजीनियर इलेकि के पद पर बयन के लिए मेएक्ट असिपि या मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरी में डिप्लोमा की प्रासंगिकता के बारे में स्याहीकरण मांगा है।
2. तकनीकी निदेशालय के परामर्श से हम मागले की जांच की गई है और रेलोंत्पादन इकाइयों का ध्यान बच्चीई 02/2014 के तहत वारी बनुरेनों की ओर आकृष्ट किया गया है, जिसमें इंजीनियरी में डिप्लोमा की तैक्षिक योग्यता की जूनियर इंजीनियर मैकेनिकल और जूनियर इंजीनियर/इलेक्ट्रियों के साथ-साथ अन्य विषयी और उसमें उल्लिखित विषयों की सब-गट्रीम के लिए परस्पर परिवर्तित रूप से उपयोग किया गया है। जीई 127/2000 के तहत जारी अनुदेशों की बसेर भी ध्यान आकृष्ट किया गया है, जिसमें अन्य पात्रता हा पूरी होने पर इन इंजीनियरी विषयों में आवक भी भी 25% सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा कोटे के लिए एक अनुमेव बोग्यता माना गया है।
3. बाः, यह स्पष्ट किया जाता है कि इलेक्ट्रिकल मैनिक ट्रेड के विषय और इलेक्ट्रिक केीिनिवरी में दिप्तीमा तक उनकी स्ट्रीम सहित, पदि कोई हो, को 25% सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा कोटे के अंतर्गत म जूनियर इंजीनियरमैनेनिकल और भूनियर इंजीनियर इलेक्ट्रिक के चयन के लिए एक्ट टिपिके समय के गिए एक प्रासंनिक ट्रेड के रुप में अनुमति दी जा सकती है।
