Railway Board ने RBE No. 50/2026 के माध्यम से Ex-Servicemen को Engineering Department में Gatemen के पद पर contract basis पर engagement के संबंध में संशोधित निर्देश जारी किए हैं। Operational requirements को ध्यान में रखते हुए Board ने निर्णय लिया है कि Zonal Railways, Central/State Governments के अंतर्गत Ex-Servicemen Welfare Boards के माध्यम से Ex-Servicemen को Gatemen के रूप में सीधे contract basis पर engage कर सकती हैं। ऐसी engagements की कुल संख्या 7,220 तक सीमित रहेगी और इसका zone-wise quota Annexure में निर्धारित किया गया है। इस संबंध में RBE No. 104/2024 के अन्य सभी terms and conditions यथावत रहेंगे।

Sub:- Engagement of Ex-Servicemen as Gatemen on contract basis.
Ref.:- Board's letter No. E(NG)II/2021/RC-4/1 dated 06.11.2024 (RBE No. 104/2024).
Attention is invited to Board's letter under reference above. Keeping in view the operational requirements, the aforesaid scheme has been reviewed and Board (MI, MF & CRB) have decided that Ex-servicemen may be engaged as Gatemen (in Engineering department) by the Zonal Railways on contract basis directly through Ex-servicemen Welfare Boards under the Central/State Governments.
2. Total number of such engagements i.e, Ex-servicemen as Gatemen (in Engineering departments) on contract basis will be limited to 7220 (Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty only) as per zone-wise quota indicated in the enclosed "Annexure".
3. All the other terms and conditions of RBE No. 104/2024 shall remain unchanged.
