The General Manager, All Indian Railways,
Sub: Preparation and submission of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for New Line/Multi tracking/Gauge conversion.
Ref: (i). Railway Board Letter No. 2022/W-I/Genl./DPR Performa dated 02.09.2022 & 13.12.2023.
Vide reference (i) above, detailed guidelines for preparation of DPR has been reiterated recently, elaborating the various activities along with PPT format.
It is advised that before submission of the DPR to Railway Board for sanction of work. a presentation of DPR should be made to General Manager and concerned PHOD's/DRM to ensure that proposal covers all the aspects of proposed infrastructure augmentation. The DPR should then be submitted to Railway Board duly incorporating comments/remarks of General Manager/PHOD's/DRM.
The PPT submitted to Railway Board for discussion must specifically mention the date of such presentation and compliance of important observations.
