Sub: Permission for retention of Railway accommodation at the previous place of posting-reg.
Ref: (1) Board's letter No. E(G) 2021 RN 2-2 dated 06.04.2023
(ii) Board's letter No. E(G) 2018 RN 2-9 dated 18.10.2023
Attention is invited to above referred letters, vide which SAG & above officers posted at SECR, SWR, WCR, ECOR, NER and all Railway officers/staff posted at ECR, BLW, MCF and CLW were permitted to retain their Railway accommodation at previous place of posting up to 31.03.2024.
2. Now, on consideration of the requests/demand received from SECR, SWR, WCR, ECOR, NER, ECR, MCF, CLW and RCF, the Full Board in the exercise of the powers vested in it to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, have decided that SAG & above level officers posted in SECR, SWR, WCR, ECOR & NER and all officers/staff posted in ECR, MCF & CLW may be permitted to retain Railway accommodation at their previous place of posting for a further period of one year beyond 31.03.2024 i.e. up to 31.03.2025 subject to the conditions stipulated in Board's letter dated 01.07.2022.
3. Further, full Board have also decided that SAG & above level officers posted at RCF/Kapurthala may be permitted to retain their Railway accommodation at their previous place of posting from 01.05.2024 to 31.03.2025 subject to the conditions stipulated in Board's letter dated 01.07.2022.
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
