Sub: – Revision of Designations of Supervisory staff of Accounts Department.

Ref: RBA No 27/2023 dated 21/8/2023 and RBA No. 25/2024 dated 9/8/2024

Subsequent to modification in scheme of Appendix-3/IREM notified vide RBA No. 27/2023 merging three streams of Sr SO(A/cs)/Sr. TIA/Sr.ISA and allowing supervisory staff to work in all the three streams, it has been decided to revise the designations of all Supervisory Staff in Accounts Department as under:-

1.	Senior Section Officer/ Accounts (SSO/A)	Level 8 GP Rs. 4800/- Level-9, GP Rs 5400/- on non-functional basis on completion of 04(four) years in Grade Pay Rs 4800/- Level-8 as Per RBE No. 3912021 dated 21/6/2021	Senior Section Officer/ Accounts (Sr. SO/A)
2.	Senior Travelling Inspector of Station Accounts (Sr.TIA)		Senior Section Officer/ Traffic inspection (Sr. SO/TI)
3.	Senior Inspector of Stores Accounts (Sr.lSA)		Senior Section Officer/Stores Inspection (Sr. SO/SI)

2. The revised designation will not entail any change in classification of posts as Group ‘C’, their pay levels, method of recruitment, existing duties, responsibilities, seniority and avenues of promotion.

3. The terms and conditions applicable for postings shall be governed by the policy/ guidelines on the basis of which the concerned staff has been inducted in the Supervisory Cadre.

4. The above issues with the approval of competent authority.
